Remedy Math
A Supportive Space for Students Coping With Math-Related Anxiety or Trauma
Is your student struggling to catch up in math, engaging with number writing, drills, or understanding math concepts? If so, discover a class designed to unlock their potential and transform their relationship with math and their envionment!
Interpersonal Communication and Problem Resolution
Understanding Basic Human Needs & Motivation
This class will emphasize understanding how communication can create or destroy morale, trigger confrontation or invite cooperation, and allow for self-direction, temperance, and responsiveness to ourselves and others. In this class, the student will:
- Learn Social Awareness
- Improve Conversation Skills
- Recognize Non-Verbal Communication Cues
- Identify Emotional Awareness
- Develop Active Listening
- Use Redirection as a Conflict Resolution Tool
- Understand Different Communication Styles
- Identify Responsibilities in Communication and Finding Solutions to Communication Problems
